ITLS – BASIC COURSE

Who should attend? Basic or Intermediate Life Support Providers (BLS or ILS HPCSA qualification), All Nursing categories, All registered allied Health Professionals, Fire Fighters, Police Officers, Security Officers & Life Savers, All emergency “First Responders” / Civil Protection / Mountain & 4×4 Rescue.

Trauma & Cardiac Arrest
Patients “Under the Influence” of Alcohol or Drugs
Skills Practice Stations:
Basic Airway Management
Vehicle Extrication & Use of Extrication Devices
Use of Spinal Immobilization Devices & Splinting
Patient Assessment
Patient assessment & treatment scenarios 

Successful completion
Accredited for 23 Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) (Incl. 1 x Ethic’s CEU’s)
Each successful candidate will receive an International Trauma Life Support certificate upon completion of the course – endorsed by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the National Association of EMS Physicians
